Every year… the kids go ballistic around Christmas. The whole be nice, beacuas Santa is makin his list… doesn’t work. They go nuts. The behavior is at it’s worse around Christmas.
I’m glad it’s almost over! 😀
My sister and I didn’t care about the elves. We knew the presents were already bought so we were going to be fine no matter what we did.
Luckily for our parents we were good kids anyway.
My brother and I tried to be on our best behavior.
But kids these days…
I find myself saying that more and more often.
I know what you mean Scott, they get worse around this time of year AND I seem to be saying “Kids these days…” and rolling my eyes a lot more now that I’m in my thirties. I have just a daughter and a son, so I’m lucky that I have only two to deal with. I’m unlucky because the fights seem to be worse when they do happen.
You’d think that with three the fights would spread out more and thus wouldn’t be so fierce, but they ac tually tend to turn into bar room brawls. 😀
“kids these days…” 🙄
Just read through the archives and if I’m honest, for a gag-a-day, this really isn’t very funny.
It is if you have children…
The whole series or just this strip? Remember what was said in panel two over here.
But then again, not everything is for everyone.
I’d just like to put in that I love the comic and the way you write. The fact that it isn’t trying to crack some lame joke every day, it’s real and wholesome. The humour is subtle and is exactly what I like. Your family seem wonderful!
Just wanted to say that I personally really enjoy your comic, it makes me ‘laugh’ in a genuine way.
Thanks. That’s exactly what I’m after. Making a gag-a-day (which this ISN’T!) would just be too much stress. Having to come up with something that knocks you off you seat every time… 😯
No thanks. 😀
I’d much rather have the silly things that happen in our everyday life.
Nice strip, keep this one regular
I had a card with a list of phone numbers in my wallet, that said
Easter bunny – Phone number
Santa – Phone number
Tooth Farie – XXX-XXX-XXX
this is for when the kids go weapon grade stupid I call one of the numbers, nominally my family somewhere and then proceed to cancel Christmas on them.
this works so well, and when Mrs. Clauses scolds them on speaker phone it is hard to keep from laughing.
but the back fire is when the lose a tooth and you have to call and order the pick up for it, or if you forget to get the tooth in the night as I did and had to reorder it before the girl went to school.
