A while back I decided to shop Heroes,inc. (my other webcomic) around to various publishers. The series is so big and contains SO many details which I considered deal-makers, that it was IMPOSSIBLE to render down into ONE page! Obviously I’m not the only one with this problem because the internet is FULL of literature on the subject of creating “winning” pitches.

I have the opposite problem. I usually have to make some stuff up on the spot so I can get to the full page. Dark Horse is always the worst because they want more than two pages for a series.
Two pages would have been a luxury.
You could render it down to themes and over riding principle for cast of characters and such you could provide links.
