This is published after the fact, but it fits in well since I skipped an update.
After our piece of crap car broke down, the kids and I had to walk a pretty far distance in the freezing cold wind. Luckily the kids were dressed in their winter cloths. I, however, not expecting to be outside, was NOT dressed for the weather…
We were on our way to violin clas (which we had to cancel obviously) and I didn’t dare leave the valuable violins in the car. Especially since one of them was the teacher’s.
Good thing we have our violins, so we can play sad songs about our misfortunes?
Who knows what goes on in a four year old’s head.
We were freezing our butts off, but having their violins with us was what saved us… in her mind at least.
It’s a good thing your kids had their violins with them on that walk home because otherwise you would have to go back in the same cold to retreive the violins, two cold exposures that close togather would have rendered you sterile.
I think one exposure took care of it…
