I guess too many bodily functions first thing in the morning can be kind of scary…
-Scott-
My sister sneezes when she first wakes up. When she first started, she was convinced it was a symptom of a terminal illness.
It is funny, between snooze and sleep, when the body comes to rest, to hear the anatomy do its intriguing work. Like orchestrated clockwork.
In the morning, however, it’s more like a Slayer gig.
How unlady like!
I love the last panel, the long-learned from prior experiences of a first born facial expressions of “what now?” that only seasoned parents can make.
I just have to say this: Burping, sneezing and coughing in one motion/moment? Incredibly painful.
And yet still worth trying at least once.
