Ooh I used to love dissecting fish as a child. One of my favourites (only did it on freshly caught fish, can’t vouch for a storebought one) was when I got to slice open the eyeball and take out the lens. The lens from a fish eye (well, cod anyway) is clear, and maybe half the size of a marble (bigger in larger fish). What was so neat was that if you put it up to your eye while it was still fresh, you could look through it and see everything upside down. They’re also fun to flick at your brother
