I know what she means! When I was a kid, I couldn’t sleep if the electricity was off– the thought that I couldn’t turn on a light if I needed one was too unnerving.
For some strange reason tho power outages don’t seem as scary if you live in the country than if you live in an urban area. I guess because in town it is never REALLY DARK (streetlights, etc.).
After the tornadoes back in APR, we were out of power for a week (and we were lucky). But, a whole city without power seems much like a George Romero set up- you are just waiting for the zombies to come down the street or something. ;-D
The good news is that this a memory you and she will remember always.
Hahaha, too dark to sleep.
Amanda is adorable in all her leg clinging glory
