Amanda, being the youngest (five on Monday) understood that Mummi (Finnish for Grandma) had died and gone to heaven, but she got stuck on some details. She was truly worried that Mummi wouldn’t be able to brush her hair.
On a side note, my wacom tablet is on the blink so it’s scanned pencils until I get it working.
I hope to be updating regularly from now on…

As a kid i always saw heaven as the ultimate resort spa, complete with EVERYTHING. So she shouldn’t be too worried.
“The Ultimate Resort Spa”
I guess that’s one way of putting it.
Glad to have you back buddy.
Indeed explain that Mummi is more beautiful than ever and will never be sick/hungry/thirsty again. It speaks well of your daughter, such concern for others.
BIG hugs to the family
Thanks! We really never went too far away.
Amanda is at that special age where she’s sad, but it doesn’t make her cry like the other (older) kids.
*hugs* to everyone in your family.
Thanks. We appreciate it.
So glad to see you back, little ones worry about things we never think of as grown ups. When my nana passed I was 5 and all I worried about was that she didn’t have her fave perfume and make up and shed be sad meeting god without her face on, my nana was a lady with class.
