I remember as a kid, no matter where we lived, we always had a tent put up in the yard and spent most of the summer out there.
I think it’s the same with every generation.
As a hindsight, I guess we were lucky enough to live in houses where that was possible.

And running back inside middle of the night because the damn birds were too loud!
We usually ended running inside during a thunder storm.
Growing up as a kid there was always someone in the neighborhood that had a tent set up and a sleepover on the weekends. Great fun.
