This is after the fact, but yeah, it was my birthday. Not that birthdays really matter at this age, but it was a mischievous gift from Mother Nature none the less.
What is the name of this horrible stomach virus? Also it is really indicative of your art style that you reuse old art in these strips. This isn’t a comment against the style but an observation. I hope your children get well soon.
Not sure what it is, but it unfolds like so… it starts with a headache, maybe sore joints, then starts a fever, then stomache problems. After that comes a sore throat, which turns to a cough. Then it wraps up with a stuffed nose kind of common cold.
About the style: Yeah, going into this I decided to stick to an easy as possible, quick style, which includes copy pasting some of the faces. With cartoon likes this it just seems silly to draw the same 3/4 face over and over.
I save all the hard drawing for other projects.

Vary good strategy and as a devoted reader to your other comics i thank you for it.
Happy birthday!
Thanks.
